RAZ Vape Ingredients: What's Inside and Full Transparency Report

If you've ever wondered exactly what goes into your device, you're not alone. Knowing the RAZ Vape ingredients is one of the most common questions we get from our customers, and we think that's a completely fair thing to ask. This page gives you a straight, factual answer with no filler, no guesswork, and no marketing fluff. Every RAZ e-liquid contains exactly four core components. We'll walk you through each one, explain what it does, tell you what's never in a RAZ device, and break down the nicotine content across every current model.

The 4 Core Ingredients in RAZ Vape E-Liquid

The ingredients in RAZ vape devices are the same four components you'll find in reputable disposable vapes across the industry, each selected for a specific functional purpose.

1. Vegetable Glycerin (VG)

Plant oils, usually palm, soy, or coconut, are the source of vegetable glycerin, a thick, transparent liquid. In your RAZ device, VG is the ingredient responsible for producing the dense, visible vapor clouds you exhale. Beyond vaping, VG carries an FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) designation for food use and is widely found in pharmaceutical syrups, food products, and cosmetics.

RAZ uses USP pharmaceutical-grade VG in every device, which is the same purity standard required for use in medical and food manufacturing applications.

2. Propylene Glycol (PG)

Propylene glycol is a thinner, colorless liquid that serves two key roles: it carries the flavor compounds to your palate and creates the familiar throat sensation you feel with each draw. Without PG, the flavors in your e-liquid would be significantly muted.

RAZ uses USP pharmaceutical-grade PG, which also holds FDA GRAS status for food use. PG is used in a range of everyday products, including asthma inhalers and nebulizers, as a carrier for active ingredients.

VG: PG Ratio: RAZ e-liquids use a 70VG/30PG base. The higher VG percentage delivers fuller vapor clouds, while the 30% PG ensures clean, accurate flavor delivery across all 80-plus flavor profiles.

3. Nicotine Salts

Standard RAZ disposable vape devices contain 5% (50 mg/mL) nicotine in salt form. Nicotine salt e-liquid is different from the older freebase nicotine format used in early vaping products. The difference comes down to a food-grade acid, typically benzoic acid, that is added to the formula to convert freebase nicotine into its salt form.

This chemical conversion lowers the pH of the liquid, which reduces harshness at higher nicotine concentrations. The result is a smoother draw at 50 mg/mL than freebase nicotine would produce at the same strength. Nicotine salt is now the standard format in virtually all disposable vapes sold in the US market.

Instead of extracting nicotine from tobacco leaves, RAZ uses synthetic nicotine made from niacin. Nicotine derived from tobacco and synthetic nicotine are chemically identical.

4. Food-Grade Flavorings and Sucralose

The same food-grade natural and artificial flavoring ingredients used in candies, drinks, and baked goods provide the flavor in all RAZ devices. These are concentrated liquid flavors that RAZ's flavor team combines to create each of the 80-plus profiles in the lineup.

For sweetness, RAZ uses food-grade sucralose, not sugar. Sucralose is a zero-calorie sweetener, the same one sold under the brand name Splenda. No added sugar goes into any RAZ e-liquid. The VG and PG base does carry a negligible caloric value, but the sucralose itself adds zero calories.

One honest note: sucralose does leave a residue on the heating coil over time, which can produce a slightly caramelized taste near the end of a device's life. If you prefer a cleaner, neutral flavor experience, RAZ's Clear, Polar Ice, and similar flavor profiles contain little to no sweetener.

What RAZ Vapes Do Not Contain

Understanding the RAZ ingredients vape formula also means knowing what is intentionally left out. Here is a direct breakdown of substances that are not present in authentic RAZ devices.

Substance

Present in RAZ?

Notes

Diacetyl

No

RAZ is 100% diacetyl-free

Vitamin E Acetate

No

Never used in any RAZ formula

THC / CBD / Cannabinoids

Diacetyl is a butter-flavoring compound that raised concerns in some early e-liquids. Reputable manufacturers, including RAZ, eliminated it entirely. Vitamin E acetate is a thickening agent linked to EVALI lung injury cases in 2019, primarily traced to illicit THC cartridges. It has never been used in RAZ products.

Nicotine Content by Device Model

Every standard RAZ model, including the RAZ TN9000, RAZ LTX 25K / DC25000, RYL Classic 35K, RAZ RX 50K, and RAZ VUE 50K, uses 5% (50 mg/mL) nicotine salt. Total nicotine per device varies by e-liquid capacity.

Per-puff estimates are calculated based on standard draw length and rated puff counts. Actual intake varies depending on draw duration and power mode.

RAZ currently offers two nicotine options only: 5% or 0%. There is no 3% or 2% intermediate option available at this time.

RAZ No Nicotine Vape Ingredients

For adult vapers who prefer a nicotine-free experience, the RAZ no nicotine vape ingredients are identical to the standard formula with one change: the nicotine salt is removed entirely. The USP-grade VG/PG base, food-grade flavorings, and sucralose remain exactly the same. Vapor production and flavor accuracy are identical across both formulas.

There are currently two devices that offer zero-nicotine options:

Blue Razz Ice, Strawberry Ice, Watermelon Ice, Night Crawler, and Miami Mint are the five flavors of RAZ TN9000 Zero Nicotine.

Bangin Sour Berries, Strawberry Burst, Blueberry Watermelon, and New York Mint are the five flavors of RAZ LTX 25K Zero Nicotine Vape.

Zero-nicotine versions of the VUE 50K, RX 50K, and RYL Classic 35K are not yet available.

A Note on Authentic RAZ Vape Juice Ingredients vs. Counterfeits

The RAZ vape juice ingredients described on this page apply specifically to authentic devices purchased through RAZ Vape Direct or an authorized retailer. These ingredient requirements are not met by counterfeit RAZ devices, which are frequently found at convenience stores and gas stations. Fake devices have been found to contain untested chemical compounds and inconsistent nicotine levels.

A scratch-off QR code is included with every genuine RAZ device for verification. Use it before your first puff. You can verify your device at RAZ Product Authentication.
